What data Living the Dream Realty handles, and why.

What we collect

Accounts (name, email, and an encrypted password), the details of published listings, and the messages or enquiries you send about a property. This site sets two cookies of its own: one (tucasu_lang) remembers your language for up to a year, and one (meridian_session) keeps you logged in for up to 7 days.

To see how this site is used, we record which pages you view, whether you tap a WhatsApp, phone or email link, the name of the website you came from if there is one (the site name only, not the page), your approximate country, your device type (mobile, tablet or desktop), your browser and operating system family (for example, Chrome on Android), whether the visit appears to come from an automated program, and a visitor ID that is created in your browser on your first visit and kept there, which lets us tell new visitors from returning ones.

If you join one of our waitlists, we keep your email, the country you ask for if you name one, what you signed up for, the language of the page, and the date and time.

The enquiry, waitlist and signup forms use Cloudflare Turnstile, a spam check from Cloudflare that runs in your browser, and when you send one of them we pass your IP address to Cloudflare so it can confirm the check. To limit repeated attempts, we keep your IP address for a short time in counters set to expire within about an hour; when you log in, the counter holds your IP address together with the email you typed and is set to expire within about 15 minutes.

If you send us a photo of a Se Venda sign by WhatsApp, the message reaches us through Twilio, and we keep your WhatsApp number, your message, the photo, your location if you share it, and the phone number, price, property type and place that an AI model run by Cloudflare may read from the sign. We also count messages per number to limit abuse. If you reply STOP, ALTO, BAJA or NO, we add your number to a list of people who asked not to be contacted.

Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, and some property photos load from Unsplash, so your browser contacts Google and Unsplash to fetch them. Cloudflare, which hosts the service, also keeps logs of the requests it handles for us.

How it is used

To run the service: showing listings, connecting buyers and sellers with the responsible office or agent, and managing your account. We also use the visit records to see how the site is used, the waitlists to learn where people want the service, the sign photos to find properties for sale, and the spam checks and counters to stop abuse. Each enquiry goes only to the office that owns the listing; there is no shared contact pool. We never sell your data to third parties.

Where it lives, and how to leave

Data is stored on Cloudflare infrastructure. Member offices can export or erase their data at any time from their dashboard. For any request about your data, reach us through the contact options on this site.
